Faux Fur Weather

don't you love prepping for a blog photo sesh, driving to another town so your wonderful working husband will snap some pics, and then you realize your camera battery is dead.

but thanks to a little persistence, i can show you this amazing top from 1802.  i love the boxy fit and the fact that the sleeves are long enough for these in-between weather days we have been having.  and since blue is one of my top-threes, i was sold.  don't forget to use code Moda15 for 15% off when you shop 1802!  the temps actually took a nose-dive over the weekend, but i am sticking to vests now, refusing to go full winter coat layers just yet.

i have been wanting to cut my hair for weeks now.  i can always tell when it's time for a drastic chop because i will wear my hair up for a week straight at work.  it's like i have given up on it.  the other day i took a major risk and starting trimming in my bathroom with the kitchen scissors.....  luckily as long as i curl my hair, you can't see the unevenness.  but it's time to call in a professional.

and as soon as i convince myself i want to go all collar-bone on my locks, i change my mind and chicken out.  but NOW i have my fabulous extensions from Rock Your Locks and can go from short to long in minutes.  i can also experiment with fun do's like this thick side braid!

i hope everyone had a great weekend!

Revenge of the OTKs

Happy Friday Eve!

The over the knee boots are back!  I was BEyond excited to pull these out of the closet for another year!  They add instant sass to a flirty look, or paired with leather leggings and a sweater can look suuuper chic!  They are definitely on my must-have list again this year!

I am also going to be all over this scoop neck crop top from 1802!  I may have just added 6 skirts to my Forever 21 cart just so I can wear it day after day!  And at only $15, it won't break the bank!
