Oh Emm Gee.  How amazing is this neon tulle skirt from my favorite, The Girl That Loves.  I mean, really.  Adult princess style.  The color reminds me of green skittles (btw - did you know the lime Skittle is now Green Apple?  Weird, but I don't hate it) and this skirt is even fluffier, sparklier & tullier than the lemonade dream skirt I wore in this post.  I kept the color palette fun and bright with an oldie but goodie, the Lora crop top.  TGTL is seriously the mecca of tulle skirts.  If you can dream it, they can make it.... but for reals.  There is even a tulle skirt with colored pom poms inside.  Sups fun.    

The perfect finisher to the look was this gorgeous Sea of Cream necklace from another one of my favorite companies, Pink Slate Boutique.  The fan-fringe shape was just graphic enough to compete with the print of the crop.  The cream & mint is such a dreamy color combo, and I know this necklace will be popular with my summer wardrobe.  PS - while you're shopping, use code MODANDTHEMAR for 20% OFF your purchase!!

Can you tell it's Spring in NC?  Pale denim and neon tanks.  The Easter Bunny (read:  mis padres) tucked this gorgeous floral tank from Banana Republic in my Easter basket, and I couldn't wait to wear it!  It just so happen to compliment my ankle biter skinnies from kensie perfectly!  I love the option of wearing lighter denim in Spring & Summer.  It can be such a nice change from my darker washes and can really make bright colors pop.  Speaking of poppin', how fun is this hot pink necklace from Charming Finds ?!  I have linked it to the Instagram page, but the official website launches May 3rd here: http://www.charmingfinds.net/.  Make sure to peruse Instagram in the meantime to ogle all of the goodies available!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  We enjoyed some more boat time & a Doogie Houser marathon... don't judge...  

I am definitely channeling my inner Greek Goddess with the maxi & gladiator sandal combo.  Not to mention all of the gold jewels.  Most maxi dresses I find are too long for flats.  I either end up holding up the ends all night or come home with a dirty yard of fabric.  This navy number from Roe Blvd is the perfect length and is so easy to transition from day to night.  I know I will get so much use out of it this summer.  My new gold jewels from Jewel Be Mine were the perfect accents to this simple dress & completed the Grecian feel. We have finally been getting some late-spring appropriate weather here at the coast and it's time to officially pull out all of the 'kinis and cover-ups.  This retro-inspired two piece from Beverly Swimwear is at the top of my rotation this year.  The vintage cut of the suit gives more coverage than most all of the bikinis on the market these days, and definitely creates a statement on the beach.  Beverly swimsuits are handmade (you are probably just as super impressed as I am) and are completely customizable.  There are tons of beautiful fabrics and fun vintage patterns to mix & match & create your perfect suit.  When I saw my blogging g-frand  Shannon of Upbeat Soles rocking these kitty-scratched bottoms, I had to have a pair.

Happy Thursday, party people!

1.  This week has FAAhhh-looowwwn by.  Is it really Thursday?

2.  I feel so comfy, cozy, awesome in this Houston maxi dress from Roe Blvd.

I definitely had my tie-dye days in high school and college.  I think everyone goes through that stage where it is "cool" to tie-dye anything & everything cotton (I also had a nose ring, a navel ring, went camping on the regular & didn't wear makeup.  hippy dippy.)  But, styles and tastes change, and now I usually only wear tie-dye to bed in the version of a tattered sleeping shirt I refuse to throw away.  

BUT NOW - I have a super chic black & white maxi dress to introduce tie-dye back into my public wardrobe.  This dress is so flowy & lovely and I can't get over how refined it makes at tie-dye print look.

Hey Reuben, are you for scuba?  Sorry - not-sorry, the dork in me thinks of that scene from Along Came Polly every time I hear the word scuba.  And now I know you are all saying skew-bah in your best French accent...
