Southern Octobers

can the weather puh puh puh pleeeease make up its mind.  I'm not going to complain about the 80 degree October days (especially when I have adorable long sleeve rompers to wear like this one from Sugar Love Boutique.)  but the fact that temp is dropping to 35 in just three days makes me cray.

smile, it's friday eve!

Reunited and it feels SO gooooood.....

Back in neutrals today and I am LOVING IT.  Something about these grey scales and warm red monogrammed tote feels so cozy.  Perhaps it's the super soft fringe infinity scarf from Sugar Love Boutique!

I don't know how I've made it this far without a chambray shirtdress.  No joke.  Possibly the most comfy & chic piece hanging in my closet right now.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Just Meachy

Happy Tuesday, guys!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend (I get to say that because we really didn't "chat" in yesterday's post.)  We soaked up some of the last days of Summer sun and I cried on the inside seeing everyone's fabulous pictures from NYFW.

I also cried a little when this GORgeous tote from Grateful Bags arrived on my doorstep.  did you know that Grateful Bags is celebrating their 2nd anniversary?!  I always love promoting an amazing company (especially one from NC) founded & run by incredible people with the biggest hearts.  ...And the bags speak for themselves.

I am particularly loving the deep red hue paired with my new go-to top from Meachy Lynn .  The back seems so flowy & feminine but still gives you a nice proportion in the front.  And for only $28, the quality is exceptional!

Daring Young Woman on the Flying Trapeze

Happy Hump Day!

Nothing beats the heat like a flowy trapeze dress!  This gorgeous one from one of my favorite boutiques - Bleue is unfortunately sold out, but they carry a very similar style (linked above.)  Does anyone else love that this style of dress is called trapeze?  And more importantly - does the word trapeze make anyone else think of the SATC episode when Carrie is trying out the trapeze & gets setup with cousin Howie??..

{use code MAGGIE20 for 20% off your White Plum purchase until 04/06}
Grateful Bag monogrammed clutch c/o {use code SPRING for 40% off & free shipping}

Happy Thursday, babes!

1.  Do you own palazzo pants?
2.  If you answered no to the first question, are you crazy ??!?!?!

Not only are these pants everywhere this season, they are THE most comfortable things in my closet right now.  On the inside it feels like I'm wearing pjs in public, but on the outside they scream:  let's party and dance and party and dance and I'm really bright and let's party.  ....at least that's what is running through my head when I wear them.  The grocery store check out gal made sure to comment on how bright I was.  I took it as a compliment.  White Plum is stocked to the brim with fun palazzos.  I already  eye on these and this gorgeous pair

PS - the White Plum Genoa necklace is one of the prizes of the White Plum Giveaway!  Have you entered yet ??  It ends Friday, so skip on over to this page of the blog and enter yo-self.  And while you're stuffing your virtual shopping cart with palazzo pants, don't forget to use code MAGGIE20 for 20% off your purchase until APRIL 6th!

So I know this post is getting a little lengthy for a Thursday, but I had to brag about this amazing pair of sunnies that landed on my doorstep this week.  Hammock & Palms  make fashionable sunglasses that float.  Yes, FLOAT.  The bamboo frames are completely floatable, assuring you that you will never loose your sunnies to the sea again.  They are also equipped with polarized lenses and a lifetime warranty.  These glasses just scream island life!  I know they will be a permanent in my beach bag all summer long! (and if you live anywhere near a body of water they should be a staple for you as well!

Thanks for reading!  I hope you have a wonderful Friday-eve!

Baby Blues

Happy First Day of Spring!

I wanted to celebrate the first day of Spring with one of it's most wearable trends this year - pastels.

This flirty dress from Poof Apparel just screams lilies, Easter eggs and sunshine.  Like most pieces from Poof! Apparel, it is completely versatile.  I also plan on styling this piece with my chucks and a cropped jacket for a more causal feel.  You can preview the Poof! collection on facebook Instagram and Twitter for more Spring inspiration!

The powder blue was the perfect compliment to all of my new favorite monograms.  Every good Southern girl knows that everything looks better monogrammed!  That is definitely the case with my new bag from Grateful Bags.  I love that the Cate can be carried as a crossbody, clutch or wristlet!  Use code SPRING for 40% off and free shipping when you customize your own Grateful bag.  And when you do, you can feel great about supporting a company who gives back to several organizations helping children in need.  ...and I feel great about supporting a NC company!

I also have a slight obsession with the other new pieces in this post - Love Always by SD carries the most unique monogram accessories and other gorgeous jewels!  And she is also one of the sweetest people to work with!   I also plan on wearing the bajeebuz out of these nude sandals from Prima Donna, so prepare yourselves.

Thanks for reading!  I hope you all have a lovely start to Spring!
