I hope you all had a wonderful weekend (I get to say that because we really didn't "chat" in yesterday's post.)  We soaked up some of the last days of Summer sun and I cried on the inside seeing everyone's fabulous pictures from NYFW.

I also cried a little when this GORgeous tote from Grateful Bags arrived on my doorstep.  did you know that Grateful Bags is celebrating their 2nd anniversary?!  I always love promoting an amazing company (especially one from NC) founded & run by incredible people with the biggest hearts.  ...And the bags speak for themselves.

It's been a short work week but it just felt soooo looooong. 

It's all about the classics today - a perfect blouse, your favorite denim, pearls, and of course, a monogram.  This Meachy Lynn top is going to be an absolute staple for me this Fall.  I love the teal hue (it also comes in pink for you bright betties) and it works with jeans and cardigans or tucked in for a work look.  Another staple for me?  Monogrammed rings.  I'm pretty sure I was gifted my first monogrammed ring in fifth (??) grade for a dance recital present, and I have been updating my collection ever since... are my NC roots showing again?...  I love how this oval one from Carolina Clover looks both classic & modern at the same time.

I have been lusting after a black watch for sometime now.  I always find myself with a watch on.  Usually it's the obnoxiously big gold Fossil watch, but I need to switch it up every now and then.  I couldn't be happier with my new black timepiece from May28th!  This line of quirky, trendy watches is perfect for everyday wear.    They have a casual feel but remain stylish with a printed face.  There is really a print & color for every taste so make sure to browse the selection.

Moda & the Mar is back to fashion today.  Try not to miss the puppy breaths too much...

Who doesn't love a good romper?  Certainly not this girl.  But what I really love about this playful Meachy Lynn romper (aside from the fun ikat print & long sleeves) is the hint of ruffle along the shorts.  Super fun & flirty.  I wore this Saturday night to my niece's dance recital....I had to take the hat off obvs... and stayed incredibly stylish and comfy for three hours of the best show on Earth.  Homegirl rocked it out and has grown up so much as a poised dancer.  This former ballerina could not be more proud.
