Happy Wednesday!

 

I had an adorable Holiday esem planned to show you today, and I woke up yesterday morning with some sort of flu type bug.  Between not getting out of bed for most of Tuesday and the cold, rainy weather I didn't exactly have a chance to take pictures. 

 

Thank goodness for Loren Hope and her adorable jewels to save the day!  These sparkly numbers are so unique and classic, and they are all definitely on my wish-list right now.  Don't forget to add some bling to your Holiday looks this year.  It's amazing how you can transform a simple tee or plain dress with a fun necklace or earring!

It's getting closer and closer to Christmas and I am getting more and more excited!  We went to our first Holiday party this weekend - a family oyster roast.  It wasn't quite the occasion for sparkles and fax-fur, but it definitely got me in the Holiday spirit. 

 

This week I wanted to show you a few different outfits to keep you in style for all of your Holiday parties and gatherings.  These shorts by kensie were perfect for a causal look.  I love that these can be worn year-round, but the metallic threads definitely give them a Holiday feel.  The past couple of days were in the 80s here and gave me an excuse to skip the tights!  But, for when it cools back down, I am already planning on pairing these with black tights and metallic heels for a dressier feel.  I paired them with a graphic tee and chunkier booties to keep with the causal vibe and chose a red blazer to really make it feel like a Holiday look.

Happy Tuesday!  A few weeks ago, one of my favorite sites Southern Charm Apparel contacted me regarding styling a piece for their collab with Jane.com.  If you aren't familiar with Jane, they feature adorable clothes, accessories, and home goods from different boutiques for a serious deal.  The catch is the deal is only available for a few days and in limited quantities, so you have to grab it quick! You really need subscribe to the email list to make sure you never miss a deal! 

 

I can't tell you how excited I was when this sequin top arrived {spoiler alert: there is another color coming to the blog tomorrow.}  I may or may not have squealed.  This top was so much fun to style and it will get a lot of wear during the Holiday season.  I mean, what is more fun for parties than sequins ?!?  I decided to style both tops in a more casual look for day and a dressier look for night.  I don't think sequins and sparkle should be limited to after-dark events. The gingham shirt and denim toned down the sequins and made them appropriate for daytime while the faux fur added an element of luxury for a fun nighttime style.
