Oh Monday, you always come too soon...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday whether you are a mom, grandmother, expectant mom, aunt, Godmother, or puppy mom (I guess all of you cat ladies count too.)  Although my mom was miles away yesterday, I made sure my dad spoiled her with her favorite things - venti lattes and a trip to the mecca of garden nurseries.  It's the little things.  I celebrated one of my second moms in her absence - my wonderful mother-in-law.  It's so nice to have a wonderful person to take care of me until my parents invest in a helicopter to come see me from Ohio every weekend....  really guys - what's taking so long?

Today is another very special day to me as it marks two years of saying "I do" to the hubs.  I honestly cannot believe it has been two years.  Each day just seamlessly fades into the next because our relationship is so effortless and easy.  They say time flies when you're having fun, right?

Nothing screams Summer to me like neon anchors & nude sandals.  The flowy fit of this Poof! Apparel dress inspired a different styling of this Pink Pineapple Shop neon anchor scarf.  There are so many ways to incorporate a scarf into your look.  This video from Wendy's Lookbook always inspires me to find a new way to tie one.  I highly recommend it.  

I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!  Sorry for the less-than-clear pictures.  I am finally trying out the 50 mm lens and lets just say it needs a little tweaking.  Advice is greatly appreciated.

This week has flown by!  Maybe it's because my Monday didn't start until Tuesday & I am already planning for Saturday...

WHOOP WHOOP  - that's the noise I plan on making all day.  Because:

1.  It's Friday.

2. It's 70 degrees here.

Seriously though, is this not the most darling skirt you have ever laid eyes on?  The Little Skirt Shop makes sweet little dreams into reality in the form of a skirt.  You might have seen this beauty on Instagram over the weekend.  I wore it to a friend's surprise birthday party and would honestly wear it every weekend if it weren't for the hubs giving me that look...."really, again?"
