Yesterday I spent a good chunk of the day on one of my favorite lazy Sunday activities... online shopping.  The temps were finally indicative of Fall and it got me excited to update my wardrobe with some staples for the season.  

I am still really loving distressed denim and I want to update my collection with a few pairs of quality black distressed jeans.  For some reason I don't own any black denim and I need to fix that stat.  Shopbop currently has a few pairs that look the part without breaking the bank.  I am also completely obsessed with mules right now.  They seem so Fall & cozy and yet so chic!  The options really are limitless on these to find the perfect pair for you.  And, if you don't own a faux fur vest by now, shame on you... and if you do, what will one or two more hurt...

While shopping for accessories yesterday, I was drawn to classic statement pieces.  Classic Raybans seem to flatter most any face, and everyone NEEDS a chunky gold watch for Fall!  I am also in love with using satchels for this time of year.  They seem so "schoolboy" to me which is perfect for this back-to-school season.  Just because you aren't going back to school doesn't mean you can't dress like it!
