i linked up a couple options that compare to this amazing sweater from Sugar Love Boutique. (this chunky poncho looks chic & cozy)  i really hate they keep going so fast.  it's such an amazing sweater....even if the hubby does insist it looks like a carpet....  men.  

i paired it with my favorite distressed skinnies (which are on sale for $50 !!) and kept the shoe choice sleek to balance out the chunky top half.  these chic beige pumps from Shop Prima Donna are my new favorite year-round heel.  i adore the unique cut and we all know nude shoes are my jam!

if I could live in clothes for a week straight, it would be a combination of these pieces.  normally in pencil skirts & heels for work, I like to get a little rugged on the weekends.  baseball tees like this one from Our World Boutique are a favorite to dress up or down, and distressed skinnies and western-style booties always make me happy.  and speaking of amazing denim, this pair from East & Lo is a perfect fit for under $100!  I promise you'll want more than one pair!

you have probably noticed my obsession with this fawn printed tote from Barrington Gifts on Instagram this week.  I honestly can not think of a more perfect print and tote for Fall!  The entire Axis collection from Barrington is gorgeous and will make you want to rent a log cabin and have a cup of cider.  and don't worry - Bambi wasn't hurt for this collection.  it's all printed on nylon.

For those days when all you want to say is "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..."  (ie: "I'm not listening" "I don't care" "I'm still going to do it my way" "leave me alone it's Friday" )

This tee from Fab Finds definitely sums up my feelings about work most days.  If only I could wear it to the office.  And don't judge the two-days-in-a-row-dirty-hair-bun.  It's been a rough week.  These flats from my favorite boutique were too good to pass up (AND they are on sale for $18!  You can call to order)  The rose gold shade is perfect way to add a little pizzazz to distressed denim.  

I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!  I'm going to try to get out of my emotional holdup in time for my birthday next week.  EEEEK!

OH EM GEE guess what?  I won concert tickets last night on the radio.  13th caller - Maggie.  BOOM.  I NEVER win anything.  Never.  And now September 12th I will be rocking out with every other 14 year old in NC to Demi Lovato.  Yep.  

Some days you just have to wear clothes.  Just clothes.  A well-worn grey tee and a comfy pair of boyfriend jeans.  Nothing special, just clothes.  What does make this outfit special?  Some kick-a** accessories.  I am probably not cool enough to pull off this edgy Nwaobiara necklace, but I am going to rock it anyway.  I love the fringe-bib effect it creates.  And what's easier for a casual weekend ensem than a fanny pack?!  Nothing.  That's what.  My Beau & Ro is definitely going to see a few Summer days this year.  

Can I make one quick confession to end this post?  I have worn these green sandals for the past week.  I even wore them with a gorgeous maxi dress (seen here on Instagram) to the Big Rock Captains Party & out dancing.  And you know what?  My feet were comfy and stylish all night long.  Every time one of my friends complained about sore feet and blisters I just smiled.  Really hard.  ....sorry guys, love you. mean it.   Funny side story - I bought these sandals from one of my Instagram thrift gold-mines the other week & when I was looking for dupes to linkup for the post I found this article from Lucky Mag last year when they were featured in a 25 Stylish Sandals for $25 post.  Better late than never, right?

What better way to start the weekend than with a summertime casual denim duo.  I love denim on denim.  Probably a little too much.  The combinations are endless and it's one of those looks that can be tailored to fit any season.  The Canadian tux is my friend.  And I know I'm going to be double-dipping in denim all summer thanks to these perfect Hot Kiss distressed shorts.  They just scream summertime at the beach.

 I also love discovered old favorites in my shoe closet when I start transitioning to the Summer crop.  These fun d'orsay flats were picked up last summer and I was so excited to dig them back out.  Old shoes meet new baubles to create a perfectly causal look.  This good vibes pendant from Jaeci Designs is perfect for layering (ps - look for a Jaeci giveaway on the blog next week)  and my new Southern Stones bangles are perfect for stacking.

Happy Monday, guys!

You may have noticed on Instagram over the weekend we finally got the boat in the water this weekend.  That is truly my happy place.  If it ever came down to it, the hubby and I would probably sell our cars before the boat.  Sunshine, salt water, good company and a few cocktails.  Today it is back to the grind with great memories and the first sunburn of the season....  

I tell you what, Style Lately simply kills it in the graphic-tee department.  Who doesn't love a statement tee?!  They can be dress up, like in my Lucky In Love post, paired with a blazer for a casual work look, or styled super-sporty like today's post.  And while I really think I  am issue-free these days (at least, emotionally) this shirt was a definite need.
