so obviously i have been living in this braid lately.  my bad. 

 it's like when you discover you have a hidden talent and you want to show anyone who will sit still for 2 minutes.  i just discovered how to do this braid and i want to show it off...

i also couldn't wait to show off this faux leather-front shirt from White Plum.  The chic front faux-leather panel adds effortless style to both denim & workwear.  this gem also comes in a white & grey version and is surprisingly warm for a thinner sweater!

so this might be one of my favorite outfits.  ever.  i am such a fan of double denim year round.  combine that with a monogrammed shrug and a little leopard... sold.  

this monogrammed cardigan from Swagger Gifts is such a wardrobe staple.  it's universally flattering and easy to style.  but the monogram makes it such a special piece that is already one of my favorites.  (and at a great price point, it would make the perfect Christmas present!)

Happy Monday, peeps!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Saturday we celebrated a friend with a surprise birthday party and you may have caught this hat a few times on Instagram.  I scooped it up from my favorite local boutique and I honestly haven't taken it off since.  sorry, not sorry....

Sunday was overcast and chilly, which was the perfect weather for my new Dittos flares.  The fit of this denim is just phenom.   My ankles were extremely excited to have a break from the skinnies, and I am beyond in love with the retro feel.  I know these denim beauties will see many a summer night this year.  Dittos has a few styles of flares out right now, and I know you guys are just going to love them!

Thanks for reading!  I'm off to inject my third cup of coffee now...
