Things have been extremely bright on the blog this week.  I apologize for all of the color, but the weather has been gorgeous and my closet is just begging for me to shed the darks and up the brights.  This watercolor maxi from Lily and Violet is just what the weather ordered!  I am so obsessed with the colors and patterns of this dress.  I can't wait to wear it to a summer wedding!  Luckily a few of my friends are taking the plunge this year!

Of course a dress this flirty and fun needed a few bright accessories.  I have been loving pastels as of late, and this cuff from Gotham Decay was a perfect match.  Just like their fabulous bags, all of the Gotham Decay accessories are completely animal-free.  How amazing is that!  I know my puppies think so! Happy Hump Day!

When in doubt and running late, throw on a lot of blue.  While the denim-on-denim is always a classic go-to ensem, the blue vest adds a layer of warmth and a little interest.  ...and everything is better monogrammed.  Don't have time to grab a purse?  Throw all of your crap in your camera bag and call it a day.

I am finally getting my hair did today.  A big thanks to my incredible stylist who squeezed me in last minute before she has shoulder surgery.  -yikes!  I have not had a haircut since mid-August.  Yes, I know.  Shock, awe and disgust.  But twice-a-year cuts are my mantra.  And just when I had come to terms with taking a few inches off, I see pictures of my long pony and want to keep it.  Maybe it's time to invest in extensions?!

TGIF everyone!

 

I hope everyone got over their tryptophan lull in time to snag a few Black Friday deals!  I am actually out with the crazies this morning with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law.  They go on an all-day shopping binge every Black Friday, and this year I took off work to join them. 

 

Requirements for today:  comfy shoes that are easy to take on and off, Starbucks, a shirt that doesn't completely ruin my hair when trying on clothes, Starbucks, a crossbody purse, Starbucks.
