Revenge of the OTKs

Happy Friday Eve!

The over the knee boots are back!  I was BEyond excited to pull these out of the closet for another year!  They add instant sass to a flirty look, or paired with leather leggings and a sweater can look suuuper chic!  They are definitely on my must-have list again this year!

I am also going to be all over this scoop neck crop top from 1802!  I may have just added 6 skirts to my Forever 21 cart just so I can wear it day after day!  And at only $15, it won't break the bank!

Bow-Tie

Happy Friday Eve!

How could you not be happy with a huge peach bow on your back ?!?  This crop top from Dress Up is one of the most darling things I have seen in a long time.  The cut is so feminine & flattering with the ultimate girly touch - a huge bow.  I already have it styled in my head with black silk joggers for a girl's night out soon!  Dress Up is one of those boutiques I want to swap my entire closet out for.  I can only imagine how sick my wallet would be if I lived closer to one of their ten locations...

But, you can't blame me for checking their site every week every day.  They get an overwhelming amount of new arrivals weekly and only carry 2-3 of each size in each item.  It's the ultimate incentive to buy now.  I would hate to think I deprived my closet of a great piece because I was trigger-shy.

Smile - tomorrow is Friday!

NO WAY, it's a Gotham Decay Giveaway

Happy Wednesday, lovers!

I have been loving the graphic tees as of late.  I styled the Vogue tee a little sportier for Monday's post.  This crop top from The Girl That Loves is so in-your-face and slightly grungy, so I wanted to keep the look chic & simple.  The gold logo completely speak for itself.  I also loved the boxy silhouette created with a crop top and a bouncy high-waisted skirt.  You don't always have to show your midriff with a crop top. I'm telling you guys - if I woke up one morning and my closet had been replaced with the entire The Girl That Loves Spring collection, I wouldn't complain.  Not one bit.  I would just say a silent thank you to the fashion elves.  This company can do no wrong.

My Gotham Decay Spring accessories were the perfect finishers to this simple look.  The combo of the sweet pastel hues and sassy cobra print made them a natural fit.  Every time I carry this vacay tote everyday I get a compliment on my vacay tote.  And as soon as I get a compliment, I can't wait to tell the lovely lady (or gent) that it's an animal-free handbag.  Shock and awe.  I adore Gotham Decay for their chic designs, but I love them for their cruelty-free materials.  {use code SPRING for 25% off the entire site until 04/20}.

Good news for all of you fashion & animal lovers - Gotham Decay is giving one lucky reader their very own set of cobra cuffs (pictured in this post) !!!!  These pastel cuffs are the perfect sweet-edge for all of your Spring looks!  Simply enter the Rafflecopter below.  Good Luck!

Cropped & Colorblocked

Happy Hump Day!

My brain is officially on vacay.  I have a short few hours of work (and a gazillion to-do's) separating me from a fantastic weekend of happiness & hangovers.  And until then, I'm going to focus on the important things... like nail polish choices.

This sleek look is definitely one of my recent favs.  There are so many bold statements and trends in such a simple outfit.  It's obvious I am a big fan of crop tops as of late, and this one from The Girl That Loves is definitely at the top of the list.  The geometric pattern and boxy shape make it the perfect modern crop top.

The colorblock envelope clutch from the Gotham Decay collection was the perfect finishing piece.  The black cork and white hologram material give an amazing contrast that is so on point.  The Gotham Decay collection from Ted Rossi is made in the USA, and is completely eco & animal-friendly.  You can help stop the decay of the environment while rocking a fiercely cool handbag.  Major win.

Cravings

icrave jewels necklace c/o | crop top | faux fur (vintage option option ) | midi skirt (very old option option ) | nude pumps | tote (Phillip Lim for target splurge save )

Happy Thursday!

I hope everyone is having a good week.  I am still home from work with the flu, but on the bright side I am completely caught up on The Carrie Diaries (guilty pleasure, don't judge.)  This time of year I think we all have cravings.  Be it a holiday scented candle or watching Rudolph for the 100th time, there are just certain things that remind me of the Holidays.  What am I craving right now?  Faux fur, midi skirts and sparkly jewelry.  There is something about a midi skirt that makes me feel so lady-like (even if it is paired with a striped crop top.)  This one was a gift from my college roommate years ago, and I don't know that I fully appreciated it until recently.  I know find myself styling it multiple ways for work and play.  Faux fur always instantly makes an outfit feel festive.  This cropped faux-mink number is vintage and was passed down from my mother.  It truly is the perfect jacket for both a formal event or paired unexpectedly with distressed denim. It worked perfectly in this look to keep the same line of the crop top so you can fully appreciate the high-waist midi.

Thanks to i crave jewels my craving for sparkly pieces has been satisfied.  This hunter green ombre piece is part of the Hampton collection, and is so unique and gorgeous.  All of i crave's jewelry is hand-made and offers just the right amount of glam.  I promise there will be more than one piece you will be craving after perusing the site.  Want to hear the best part??!  You can win this same necklace to add a pop to your Holiday styles!  Just visit my Instagram page (link under my profile pic) and follow the rules!  Giveaway will end 12/18 so hurry up and enter today!
