I hope everyone had a great weekend full of green beer and good times.  And, I hope you're wearing green today so you don't get pinched!  Where is my green?  Perhaps you didn't notice the stunning Geneva Bib necklace from Trendz Boutique.  As they say, "it's all in the details," right?

Today my heart is full of love.  Not only for this precious love tee from Style Lately, but from the past weekend spent celebrating a bride-to-be.  The group of girls that came together to celebrate are truly incredible women.  They are all intelligent, accomplished, kind and hysterical.  And, they are all beautiful inside and out.  It was so wonderful to spend a weekend of wine and shenanigans with women who respect, encourage and support one another, and it made me so grateful to have met these gems over the years.  ...and some of them just might be on the blog later this week...Emily...

Happy Valentine's Day, Loves!

I hope everyone is feeling very loved today, be it from a beau, bestie or a family member.  Valentine's Day should be for celebrating all forms of love.  My Valentines and I will be spending a low-key night at home, probably eating too much chocolate & puppy ice cream.

So, like it or not I have to go to work every weekday.  Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, everrrry week.  And as much as I love classic work-wear silhouettes,  shift dresses and pencil skirts can get so boring.  It's easy to add pops of color or fun baubles to make something feel fresh and different, but sometimes a girl's gotta change-up the basics.  Enter these silk joggers.  When I first got them I completely overlooked their work potential.  But one fateful day when I was feeling particularly hibernatable {I know that's not a real word} and these elastic, silky pants presented themselves for a work option.  And now I wear them on the regular.  They are extremely business-profesh, but yet extremely unexpected in the typical 9-5.  Add a fun print and a long blazer and you have created an updated pantsuit for the working girl.  

And, how gorgeous is this Geneva bib necklace from Trendz Boutique ??!?  Have you ever been getting dressed/outfit planning and thought I know what necklace I need, but I don't know because it's not in my closet yet.  This is that necklace.  It adds so much with just one little necklace.  Trendz never disappoints my friends.  Never.  {and, this stunner is only $23.  I KNOW!!!}

I hope everyone buried under snow & ice right now is staying safe and warm!  We got a little ice Tuesday, but the big storm missed us.  And, as much as I would like to play hooky and snuggle-down with the hubs and pups for two days, I am really just not a snow person. 

Something about this 'ensem feels like formal Western-wear to me.  I suppose it's the combo of the booties, gingham and necklace fastened in bolero-fashion.  And I'm sure now that I've said it you're thinking it too.  But you know what?  I like it.  The crystal feathers necklace from Trendz Boutique is another absolute favorite of mine.  I can't help but adore everything from Trendz.  Every piece is so unique and so budget friendly.  Just wait til you see my other new Trendz gem in tomorrow's post!

You may also notice my other newbie - the gorgeous Minkoff 5-zip.  Technically it's my Valentine's Day present, but in the name of blogging I was allowed to use it early.  What a great hubby.  I am trying to make a conscious effort to carry smaller bags from time to time.  The 5-zip crossbody is going to be perfect for this.  And the sea glass color was divine.  I know it will stay glued to my should all summer!
