I'm So Fancy

Fab Finds So Fancy tank c/o | Umgee Shorts c/o : similar here - here - here - here

Happy Thursday, lovers!

So there's really nothing fancy about this casual summer look.  But it is pretty fun to style this So Fancy tank from Fabulous Finds Boutique !  ... just a warning:  the song will be stuck in your head ALL day... I first introduced you to Fabulous Finds (an NC boutique) with this gorgeous pink maxi.  They just do not disappoint!  I am also growing my pom pom shorts collection with this floral pair from Umgee.   Umgee is wholesale but I know your favorite boutique stocks their pieces!

You Are My Sunshine

Happy Thursday, peeps!

How do you make a rainy day better?  A bright tank & fun rain jacket!  This adorable beachcomber coat from Charles River Apparel will actually make you excited for a rainy day.  It's lightweight with a feminine cut and obviously is one of my favorite colors.

Umgee always make the most adorable & affordable pieces and this scalloped tank is no exception.  Although Umgee is a wholesale company, I can almost guarantee your favorite boutique stocks their items.  I know my local boutique does as well as some of my favorite online shops - BohoBluL.Mae & The Mint Julep!  I love the way this top hangs and the yellow hue will definitely knock you out of a neutral rut.

I was SO excited to share this amazing Daylin Skye Signature bow bag with you today!  Although it won't be available on the website until tomorrow (07/18) I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek.  Can you belive this beauty is hand made??!?  I mean, really.  The vegan-friendly leather is so subtle but still has enough structure to make it a perfect mid-size bag.  I am majorly obsessed with the aqua lining and huge statement bow!  I know you will love Daylin Skye bags just as much as I do!

Colorblocked Comfort

Happy Thursday, loves!

I hope everyone is fully recovered from their NYE fun.  I am back to the grind today 9-5.  And I am taking a break from sequins and metallics with this comfy, colorblocked sweater from Umgee .  I introduced you to Umgee in this post a few weeks ago and wanted to show you another one of my favorite pieces.  The sweater is such a fun print and I adore the unexpected navy back.  I added a new statement piece from TJ Maxx and my favorite arm baubles to make it a little more girly.  And my MK tote matches the stripes in the sweater too perfectly!

I have received a lot of love for my new love on Instagram - this oversized Fossil watch.  It is actually a men's watch from the Fossil line, but to me, the bigger the better with time pieces.  I have been eyeing gold watches every since the hubby bought me a silver one three years ago and my sister-in-law was sweet enough to leave this one under the Christmas tree for me.  Shopping Tip - check TJ Maxx for designer watches.  This one about 60% off the department store price.  I have the exact watch linked above and in the Shop The Post below for anyone interested!

Varsity Blues

Happy Wednesday!

The countdown to Christmas is officially down to a week and my anxiety level is officially through the roof!  We are going out of town to have celebrate with my mother's side of the family Saturday and I have a checklist a mile long to accomplish before then.  But don't worry, the blog will not be ignored over the Holidays!  I have lots of fun posts lined up for you over the next week!

How sassy is this low-cut velvet swing dress from Umgee ??!? If you haven't heard of Umgee yet, let me give you a little background info.  They are actually a wholesale company based out of LA and offer an eclectic mix of contemporary, junior and plus-size items.  I truly love the range of products they offer.  It makes it effortless to create adorable looks (ps- yesterday's post was actually another Umgee dress I found in my favorite local boutique.)  Since they are a wholesale company you aren't able to order pieces through the website, but they are in boutiques and shops all-over the U.S. to make sure to find a carrier near you!  I love the flirtiness of the dress paired with the sporty varsity jacket.  I have been on the lookout for a flattering varsity jacket all year, and I finally found this one from Umgee.  This one is also more of a sweatshirt material so it's not too hot or cumbersome for the mild NC winters.

I am so thrilled to let you guys know I am one of the featured bloggers on the Wednesday Style Connection this week hosted by Jessica and Courtney !  I adore both of these girls and their style so I was honored to be chosen this week!  I love linking up each week to discover new blogs and to be inspired!

Happy Monday!

I hope you all shopped your little hearts out during Black Friday and Shop Local Saturday.  This post is full of small business pieces.  I hope you really showed some of them love this year with your Christmas shopping.  And, if you still haven't gotten your fill, don't forget today is Cyber Monday!  If you checked out Instagram yesterday you noticed that the hubby and I went Christmas tree shopping.  Shewl.  What a day.  We ended up going to 5 different tree lots for a total of 4 hours, and finally found the perfect tree on the first lot closest to our house.  Needless to say the husband was not in the Christmas spirit by the time we got home.

Unless you have been avoiding social media {then I guess you wouldn't be reading this} you know tassels are big this year.  Some of my favorites have been featured on the blog already and seem to make my #ootd in either necklace, bracelet or keychain form.  Today I wanted to show you another new favorite from Cadorah .  I love the pop of turquoise from the stone and the gradient chain.  I really love that it's another small business from Etsy.  Cadorah offers so many unique pieces that would be perfect to wrap-up for a special friend or family member this year.  As fashionistas, you all know it's nice to gift your friends with pieces that will keep them trendy this year.

Another favorite piece right now is this Umgee cropped moto jacket.  I wore this in a charity fashion show the other weekend for one of my local boutiques and of course it had to come home with me.  I chose to pair it with cobalt, one of the biggest colors of the year and kept the look edgy with these fun booties.
