Happy Friday Everyone!
I could jump up and down and squeal because I am so excited it's Friday. I can promise I will be counting down the minutes until 5:00 at my daytime gig. Not because I have anything in particular to do this weekend, but simply because it has been a long week. I decided to add a few brighter colors to the wardrobe in an attempt to perk myself up. In a recent post I disclosed that I am a functional clothes hoarder. But, I got it honest. This gorgeous kelly green Deans sweater was purchased in 1978 by my mother. This vintage piece has lasted through 8 years of college (4 of hers and 4 of mine) parties, family Christmas dinners, babies and countless houses and moves. I love the fit and hue, but I love even more that it has a history. It will definitely sit in my closet for another decade or two until it finds a new home in my future child's closet. I decided to layer it over a dress and leggings for work, and I seriously cannot get enough of the black/brown combo this time of year.
I am super excited about the posts lined up for next week. There will be lots of sparkle and Holiday inspiration, starting with a great giveaway from kensie so make sure to check back Monday morning!
If you haven't entered the other giveaways going on right now, there is still time! This fun one from The Jewelry Lady ends 12/10 and the Glitzy Holiday Giveaway on Instagram ends today!
