Socks & Heels

Happy Tuesday, friends!

The whole sock-heel trend is something I have been secretly dying to try for some time now.  However, when out shopping or browsing online, "dainty anklet socks" are not on the top of my list.  Imagine my joy when this pair arrived on my doorstep from my friends at Kushyfoot.  Challenge accepted.

I can't lie to you.  I struggled styling these socks.  I perused hundreds of pins and Instagram photos, and tried on nearly half of my closet.  Either the colors didn't jive, or the proportions just made it look off.  My initial instinct was to pair them with a flirty dress or skirt to create somewhat of a vintage look.  It just wasn't me.  So, I dug these lace shorts out of the bottom of my dresser and built the outfit from there.  I knew I wanted to go in more of a chic, street-style direction so the Francine top from Urban Philosophy was a perfect choice.  Now that I have tackled socks with heels once, I am extremely eager to create more looks.  Perhaps a girly sock with a sandal?

The perfect touch to this look was these new statement earrings from Christina Faithe Jewelry.  Seriously, everything from this store makes me happy!  The shapes and colors are so fresh and new.  Don't forget to use code SHOP for 10% off your purchase!  And check out her Instagram page for more inspo!

So friends, are you going to be trying this new trend soon?  Linkups below.

  1. Yes!! My husband is SO against the socks in sandals or heels trend. When it comes to fashion, that typically makes me want to try it even more! Haha- looks great!
