Happy Thursday, Pals!
Today is the hubby's birthday, and I think I care twice as much as he does. While I turn my birthday into a month-long celebration, he typical doesn't give his a second thought. But, it's my job to try and change that each year ...and to remind him how old he is {he has four years on me so I rub it in every chance I get} Honestly though, I find often myself in tears for the amount of joy and happiness he brings to my life. The love is so strong it hurts my heart. I will never know what I did to deserve his kind heart and devotion, but I am forever indebted.
Ok, going from sappiness to street style - can we talk about how sick this top is from Urban-Philosophy ?!! Yes, sick. I may or may not have worn it for multiple days when I first got my hands on it. The jersey style numbers on the back of a classic pinstripe button-down give such an effortless edge to the piece, which is character of the entire Urban Philosophy line. It truly makes it easy for you to pull off an urban, street-style vibe.
I love how versatile this piece is - the structure of it compliments distressed denim, pencil skirts, shorts and even leggings. And I really love that the hubby completely doesn't understand it {love you, hun.} I styled it last weekend casually with loose silk shorts and my favorite booties. Loads of chunky bling and this gorgeous hardcase clutch finished off the look. My favorite aunt surprised me with the clutch for Christmas {how fashionable is she??!?} and I am in love. I dumped out all of my junk for the pictures, but it's easy to hide necessities in a cute pouch or small wallet.
BTW - Urban Philosophy is having a KILLER sale right now! I'm talking up to 85% off and some pieces are now just $5. So skip that extra-hot, no whip skinny vanilla latte and go scoop up some goodies - before I throw them all in my own cart!

I love the contrast between the men's shirt and the elements of pure glam! It looks eclectic and like you have a real signature style.
